Role: Creative Artworker

Recreating the logos of the Lionesses’ first ever football teams

I was commissioned to recreate a series of logos, many from very low res and hard to decipher imagery. The logos belong to the football teams where some of the England women’s national team very first played the sport, as part of the Made For This Game campaign that looked back at the journeys of each of the players.

The project required a fair bit of guess work in some cases due to the poor quality of the existing logos (or in some cases, photographs of old kit). The new, vectorised logos are crisp, clean, and were able to be printed onto shirts for the team to wear during a special training session.
